American Interactive Media, Inc. Expands Its Internet Marketing and Distribution Network Through the Acquisition of Media Net, Inc.


Medford, NJ February 13, 1996 - American Interactive Media, Inc. (NASDAQ Bulletin Board "AIME") announced today the acquisition of Media Net, Inc. ("MNI") of Los Angeles, CA. MNI markets and distributes Internet related products to the burgeoning home-based business industry. The terms of the acquisition were undisclosed but are primarily based on net revenue and profits generated by MNI.

Alan J. Setlin, President of Media Net, Inc. stated "Media Net will utilize the Internet hardware provided by AIM in conjunction with Media Net's satellite teleconferencing and network marketing capability to market Internet products and services to the $4 billion home office market and to bring subscribers to the AIM global Internet Network."

Michael J. Salaman, President of AIM stated, "the acquisition of MNI is a part of the Company's multi-faceted strategy to position itself in three principle areas of the Internet; 1) hardware and software product development, 2) Internet content through alliances with content providers, on-line publishers, and global marketers concentrating in home shopping, learning, news and on-line entertainment, and 3) the establishment of proprietary Internet connectivity hardware and software products which are designed to simplify the way consumers access and obtain information and products via the Internet.
