American Interactive Media, Inc. forms strategic alliance with EarthLink Network, Inc. as first step toward developing its Global Internet Network


Medford, NJ, January 4, 1996 - American Interactive Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIME) announced today an agreement with EarthLink Network Inc. This agreement provides AIM with a first step towards developing its Global Internet Company through generating new subscribers for EarthLink Network, Inc. AIME anticipates generating 250,000 new Internet Subscribers over the next twelve months.

EarthLink Network's Internet access service and EarthLink's TotalAccess™ software which includes the popular Netscape Navigator™ along with Eudora™ E-Mail software, will be marketed by AIM through direct response commercials on national cable and broadcast stations, home shopping networks, directly to retail, major corporations, and bundled by computer manufacturers.

EarthLink Network, Inc., located in Los Angeles, CA is one of the top three "pure Internet" access providers in North America providing local 28.8 bps Internet access to over 150 cities in the U.S. and Canada. EarthLink Network is also known as "Hollywood's Internet access provider" because of its close ties to the major studios, guilds, production houses, as well as major producers, directors, and movie stars.
